2008 Thank you

iRiE ECO Children Summer Programme is coming to an end!
The 2008 edition has been a great fun!

The children were exposed to healthy living and ecological lifestyles. We looked at rainbows, volcanoes, birds and whales, the culture, oceans and rainforest of Dominica through science experiments, arts and crafts, stories and many many outings!
The children visited three different natural locations every week; there were weekly walking trips to the library, sports and games in the Botanical Gardens; a visit to an Art Exhibition and to a schooling sailing yacht. Our visitors and volunteers included experts on African dance, arts and crafts, whales, birds, tour guiding, swimming, football, Judo, education and a special hand from local fishermen and boaters.
The children were enthusiastic. It is clear: they enjoy positive activities such as sports, exercise, outings, art with a focus on health.

The support we experienced was overwhelming.
Thank you to all of those who contribute to the success of our program and especially Trudy Scott Prevost, Annette Loerner Peyer, our staff and helpers: Mireille Dahan, Pia Cange, Donna Klarin, Martin Larocque, Julienne Martin, Daniel Leslie, Susi Franz, Mrs Byrnes.
